Recruitment Coordinator - Abbatt Property Recruitment
We're looking for a Recruitment Coordinator to be the backbone of our permanent placements team at Abbatt. Finding great candidates, supporting the recruitment manager, and inputting data on to the ATS will be the main focus of this role. Who We Are
Abbatt Property Recruitment have been going for 66 years, placing property professionals into onsite roles in London and beyond. This role is in our Perms team, finding candidates for permanent positions such as Estate Managers, Property Managers, Concierge, Building Managers and Security Guards.
What you'll be doing
Candidate Attraction and Selection (50%)
- Post engaging adverts and use job boards to search for candidates
- Build talent pipelines for hard-to-fill and commonly recruited for roles
- Screen CVs and invite successful candidates to to interview, sending pre-interview information and prep materials
- Conduct phone, video or face-to-face 1st stage interviews
- Co-ordinate interviews on behalf of the Recruitment Manager and clients
- Coordinate offers, contracts, and pre-employment checks
- Ensure every candidate has a positive experience (even if rejected)
ATS & Data Management (40%)
- Manage our Applicant Tracking System
- Keep candidate records accurate and up-to-date
- Track applications, interviews, and pipeline stages
- Ensure compliance documentation is complete
- Keep everything organised and accessible
Team Support (10%)
- Improve candidate experience where possible
- Work with other teams to share leads and candidates
- Be the friendly face of Abbatt for every applicant
- ad hoc tasks as requested by the recruitment consultants and managers.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Exceptional organisational skills – you can juggle 10 interviews across 5 roles without breaking a sweat
- Communication skills – warm, professional, responsive (by phone, email, and in person)
- Attention to detail – compliance matters, nothing slips through the cracks
- Experience with databases or systems – ATS or CRMs
- People-focused approach – you genuinely care about candidate experience
- Tech-savvy – comfortable with Microsoft Office, Linked In or job boards, and learning new tools quickly
Desirable:
- Previous recruitment coordination, HR admin, or recruitment agency experience or residential property experience in London
- Knowledge of recruitment compliance (right to work, references, DBS)

What You'll Get
Compensation:
- Salary: base salary of £27,000 - negotiable depending on experience
- Commission for sourcing candidates, leads and a team bonus for hitting targets - OTE £30k+ (can greatly exceed this too!)
