Fleet Support Coordinator
Fleet Support Coordinator (Fixed Term Contract - 12 Months)
The Opportunity
Join our team as a Fleet Support Coordinator and play a key role in ensuring fleet availability and operational efficiency. Your expertise will facilitate seamless communication, excellent customer service, and effective fleet management in a dynamic 24/7 support environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide telephone support to GSE customers, managing fleet availability and recovery plans. Handle and resolve breakdowns, incidents, defect reports, and service status updates. Investigate GE/GS/GSZ aircraft delays and communicate findings to customers.
Monitor and coordinate SLA recovery plans, ensuring timely customer notifications.
Escalate safety incidents and operational risks to the Lead Fleet Coordinator or Call Centre Manager.
Liaise with customers on vehicle status, maintenance schedules, and repairs.
Process and allocate jobs in SAP, including creating service requests and raising purchase orders.
Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and manufacturers on repairs and warranty claims.
Maintain accurate records of fleet movements, repairs, and service costs.
Actively promote a safe work environment by reporting hazards, incidents, and near-misses.
Skills, Experience & Behaviours
Prior customer service or call centre experience.
Strong understanding of fleet management, vehicle maintenance, and workshop operations.
Familiarity with SAP systems and customer service operations in a logistics environment.
Experience in a customer-focused role within the vehicle maintenance or aviation sector.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and strong organisational skills.
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
A team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Customer-focused with a detail-oriented and professional approach.

Split Day & Night Shifts:
Week 1 – Days 05:30–17:30 or 06:00–18:00
Week 2 – Nights 17:30–05:30 or 18:00–06:00
Week 3 – Days 05:30–17:30 or 06:00–18:00
Week 4 – Nights 17:30–05:30 or 18:00–06:00
