The Opportunity

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong skills in Playwright , Jest , and manual testing to ensure high-quality releases across our fintech platform. This role will involve a hybrid focus owning automation test suites while also conducting exploratory and manual testing to catch UI/UX issues before they reach our customers.

You will be a quality champion in the team, setting up best practices for E2E test automation , helping define acceptance criteria, and making sure every release is smooth, fast, and bug-free.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated test suites using Playwright , Jest , and supporting frameworks.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to define clear, testable requirements .

• Perform manual testing to detect UI inconsistencies, usability issues, and edge cases that automation might miss.

• Set up test environments, run regression suites, and ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility .

• Integrate automation tests into the CI/CD pipeline for fast feedback loops.

• Write clear bug reports with reproduction steps, screenshots, and logs.

• Monitor and maintain test stability, quickly identifying flaky or unreliable tests.

• Mentor team members on QA automation best practices.

• Continuously improve our QA processes, tooling, and test coverage.

You Will Thrive in This Role If

• You have 3+ years in QA automation, with proven experience in Jest and end-to-end testing frameworks like Playwright (or similar).

• You are comfortable balancing manual and automated testing responsibilities.

• You have a sharp eye for UI/UX details and can spot issues others might miss.

• You are proactive and take ownership of ensuring quality at all stages of development.

• You have experience testing React and Node.js applications.

• You can design test plans, test cases, and testing strategies independently.

• You understand CI/CD , Git workflows, and modern development environments.

• Experience in fintech or regulated environments is a plus.
