World Gaming (a division within Clarion Events) is the home of three market-leading event brands ICE, ICE Barcelona - January 19 - 21, 2026 and IGB L!VE, , iGB Affiliate
We have an amazing opportunity for a brilliant, seasoned senior campaign manager to take over the creation, delivery and success of the ICE marketing campaign.
ICE is the place the world of gaming goes to do business and plays host to 65,000+ gaming professionals each year in the city of Barcelona as part of World Gaming week. This is the marketing leading event and the most respected long-standing show in the gaming calendar.
For the gaming industries top operators and suppliers, across both land based and online gaming and gambling communities, the regulatory community, in fact for anyone who works in the gaming industry, it is the must attend global event of the year and plays an essential role in the ongoing development and health of the gaming community, actively driving the agenda around safer gaming initiatives, diversity, and regulation decisions.
Our sister events are both under the iGB events portfolio. iGB Affiliate, the home of the igaming affiliate community, takes place alongside ICE in Barcelona, and iGBLIVE the home of the igaming community that happens during July in London, these are the most loved event brands for the igaming community.

The Candidate:
The Senior Campaign Manager will play a key role across ICE. This role will create and manage the campaign strategy for each event which will allow the marketing team to hit their goals. The ideal candidate will be a marketing all-rounder, with proven leadership abilities and a proven track record of delivering growth.
Reporting into the Head of Marketing and Brand Director, Jody Frost, they’ll work alongside the marketing team to deliver the marketing objectives across their products.
The ideal candidate will know how to manage their role as the campaign evolves. They can focus on the “big picture” when developing the campaign plans; to manage and focus the team on campaign delivery as well as being able to provide status updates and recommendations for campaign adjustments.
They will be analytical, and data orientated with a history of creating marketing plans, testing and campaign optimization, but with creative flair and exceptional attention to detail. They will enjoy a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and have experience in managing and motivating direct reports in addition to managing agencies and freelancers through complex integrated campaigns.
They will be an exceptional communicator working across departments integrating with senior leaders, operations and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Strategy & Leadership
- Creating and managing the ICE marketing campaign plans - driving acquisition and retention in key segments to achieve our business goals across events and digital products.
- Effectively communicating and presenting the campaign plans, strategies, and updates throughout the event cycle to the team and stakeholders.
Campaign Delivery & Optimization
- Accountable for delivery of the global ICE campaign plans - effectively briefing, managing, and optimizing the output of the internal team and external resources (including agencies and freelancers).
- Working alongside the Senior Marketing & Engagement Manager, Strategic Markets (ICE & iGB)to ensure the delivery of our expanding and mature markets. Ultimate responsibility for the marketing plan and budget will sit with you.
- Writing and proofreading any copy for promotional materials - ensuring all brand and style guides are adhered to.
- Ensuring all promotional marketing materials created are tailored towards our key personas.
- You will have two campaign execs, but this is a hands-on role.
Data-Driven
- Use business intelligence, customer feedback and insight to suggest and implement new campaign ideas.
- Owning all the ICE marketing reporting from weekly reporting of event KPIs, forecasts to post event reports that deliver insight, analysis and recommendations.
- Managing the ICE marketing budget.
- Identify key industry trends, innovations or technologies that can drive growth.
Customer-Centric
- Ensuring that all campaign plans and deliverables are heavily influenced by customer data, research and feedback.
- Continued learning (and more importantly, implementing that learning!) about the gaming industry and marketing through attending events, reading, listening to podcasts and webinars.
Management and reporting
- You will be responsible for the management and development of two marketing executives, fostering their progression and creating development plans to ensure the ongoing improvement of the team.
- You will report directly into the Head of Marketing and be responsible for providing plans and reports on the development of the team.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours:
- Excellent knowledge of best practice across email, social media, paid media, landing pages, websites and chatbots (ideally with depth knowledge in 2-3 channels).
- Excellent direct response copywriter and copy editor.
- Experience creating and delivering campaigns across multiple marketing channels.
- Exceptional project management skills - organized, proactive and able to multi-task.
- In depth knowledge of marketing performance metrics and optimisation tactics.
- Excellent communicator – great verbal and written communications skills that can translate campaign strategies in a simple way to a range of stakeholders and team members.
- Obsessed with feedback – we love to continuously learn, develop, deliver and receive feedback, which is a critical skill in our team.
- Be a critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills - driven to understand “why” and takes the initiative to identify trends and gaps.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize relevant tasks.
- Experience with marketing technology including email marketing automation, CRM, social media management website analytics, chatbots and of course AI technologies.
- Excellent ability to work with data sets, interpret trends and provide analysis and recommendations based on data that support our goals.
- Proven ability to learn new tools and software quickly and independently.
- Highly proactive, initiating attitude - able to take prompt action to accomplish objectives and goals, with the energy and tenacity to address bottlenecks and barriers.
