SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary School - Newham

Are you a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new opportunity? Remedy Recruitment Group is working with a fantastic primary school in Newham who are seeking a skilled SEN TA to join their inclusive and nurturing provision.

About the Role

In this role, you will provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including those with behavioural challenges. You'll play a vital part in helping children overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted 1:1 and small group interventions for pupils with SEN and behavioural needs

• Support teaching staff with lesson delivery and individualised learning plans

• Encourage positive behaviour strategies and emotional regulation

• Build confidence, independence, and a love of learning in pupils

• Help create an inclusive, engaging, and safe classroom environment

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN and behavioural needs (ideally in a school setting)

• A patient, resilient, and proactive approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Good standard of spoken and written English

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• A full CV covering the last 10 years (with any gaps explained)
