About the role
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst (3+years), who has solid understanding of product development and enjoys working closely with cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life. This role will sit within our Product & Engineering departments supporting on ticket estimation and disciplined backlog management. You’ll plan 2–3 sprints ahead, write clear user stories, and translate stakeholder needs into actionable requirements. Collaboration across DevOps, Data, Marketing, Operations, and Support and active participation in agile ceremonies will be an essential element to this role.
Key responsibilities of the Business Analyst
Estimating tickets alongside engineering teams and supporting the ticket management process.
Building 2-3 sprints ahead of upcoming projects to ensure an organized flow of work within the product team.
Identifying improvement opportunities and solutions within the product team.
Writing clear and concise user stories that effectively communicate user requirements to the Engineering team.
Working closely with stakeholders to define product requirements, prioritize features and ensure successful product launches.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Data Engineering, Marketing, Operations & Support.
Working on key projects aimed at driving product innovation including developing new features, improving existing product scope and launching new products.
Participating in daily meetings, sprint plannings, sprint reviews and retrospectives to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of products.
About you The ideal candidate will be confident, creative, individual, and motivated to add value and new insights to the product function. They will have a positive outlook and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic company in the technology industry.
Have a good understanding of product development with experience working alongside an in-house product team.
3+ years experience as a Business Analyst.
Key experience collaborating with cross–functional teams and able to communicate well as a representative of the product team.
Able to write stories effectively with the consideration of the end users’ perspective.
Methodical and structured approach.
Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Confident to support team objectives & reporting metrics.
Proven ability to manage projects
