A welcoming and community-focused primary school in Stoke Newington is seeking an organised and personable School Receptionist to join its administrative team from January 2026.
This is a front-facing role at the heart of the school, ideal for someone who values professionalism, warmth and organisation in equal measure. The receptionist is often the first point of contact for pupils, families and visitors, and plays a vital role in maintaining the calm, friendly atmosphere for which the school is known.
The Role
You will be responsible for the smooth running of the school reception and wider administrative support.
Key responsibilities include:
Welcoming pupils, parents and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
Managing incoming calls, emails and face-to-face enquiries
Supporting attendance recording and late arrivals
Maintaining accurate pupil records and documentation
Liaising with teaching staff and senior leaders as needed
Supporting safeguarding procedures in line with school policy
