Brand Operations Manager

We are partnering with a leading international asset manager to appoint a Brand Operations Manager on a permanent basis in their London office. This role sits within the central brand function and is responsible for overseeing brand governance frameworks, operational processes, and controls across a portfolio of established financial services brands.
The successful candidate will play a key role in protecting brand equity and ensuring consistent, compliant application of brand standards across multiple business areas. This position requires a structured, detail-oriented brand professional who is comfortable operating in a regulated environment and engaging a wide range of internal stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be involved in
- Acting as a central point of coordination for brand-related governance queries across the organisation
- Embedding and refining operational frameworks to ensure consistent and compliant brand application
- Partnering with legal and external advisers to maintain accurate trademark and licensing documentation
- Managing oversight processes, including attestations, risk and control submissions, and governance reporting
- Evaluating how brand processes are functioning in practice and driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Organising and facilitating governance forums, working groups, and stakeholder workshops to align on standards and policies
- Reviewing and triaging trademark licence requests, ensuring timely escalation and resolution where required
- Maintaining detailed records to support compliance, legal obligations, and senior stakeholder reporting
- Providing clear, practical guidance to business teams on brand standards and correct usage
- Supporting the implementation of new governance tools, controls, and operational protocols
- Contributing to shared team responsibilities, including mailbox management and administrative coordination
The ideal candidate should have
- Proven experience within a corporate brand function, ideally within financial services or another regulated environment
- Prior experience working in a marketing or brand operations role would be beneficial
- Experience operating brand governance frameworks and overseeing brand management systems across multiple brands
- Strong stakeholder management capability and the confidence to guide and challenge where appropriate
- Experience working alongside legal, compliance, and external suppliers within a structured corporate setting
- A highly organised and detail-oriented approach to documentation and process control
- The commercial judgement to balance brand protection with pragmatic business needs
- The resilience to manage competing priorities and operate effectively under pressure
