Spanish Teacher (ECT Support) - Enfield | "Outstanding"...
We are working with an Ofsted-rated "Outstanding" school in Enfield recruiting for a Spanish ECT. This school is a regional leader for Modern Foreign Languages, providing an immersive linguistic environment and a robust support network for new teachers.
The Role You will teach Spanish at KS3 and KS4, with a focus on target language immersion and student oracy. Your induction will be managed through the local Teaching School Hub, ensuring you meet all ECF milestones while receiving internal coaching from an MFL Specialist. Key responsibilities include:
Delivering engaging lessons that build student confidence in spontaneous speech
Collaborating with native-speaking Language Assistants for speaking clinics
Utilizing modern Hispanic media to create authentic cultural resources
Meeting weekly with a Mentor to review instructional coaching targets
Supporting the school’s popular international exchange programs
