Commercial Associate
Our client is a globally recognised organisation operating within the maritime and energy infrastructure space, supporting complex international shipping and asset management operations. With a strong presence across Europe, Africa, and Asia, they manage long-term strategic partnerships and high-value assets, playing a critical role in the global LNG supply chain.
They are now looking to appoint a Commercial Associate to join their Asset Management team in London. This role will focus on the commercial and operational management of LNG carrier assets on long-term charter, acting as an owner’s representative and ensuring effective coordination between charterers, technical managers, finance teams, and internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will oversee OPEX budgets, support claims handling and dispute resolution, contribute to contractual compliance, provide operational and commercial analysis, and assist with reporting, governance, and stakeholder engagement across international projects.
The requirements for this role are,
Degree in maritime operations, business, law or a related discipline
Experience within commercial shipping operations (LNG, LPG or Oil)Familiarity with LNG markets and tanker charterparty structures Understanding of ship management and commercial agreements Excellent communication and organisational ability Commercially astute with strong attention to detail Advanced Excel and analytical capabilityThis is an excellent opportunity offering a competitive salary, international exposure, and strong long-term career progression within a global asset management environment.
