About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Housing Advice and Homelessness Manager to lead our frontline homelessness and assessment services, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support for residents at risk of or experiencing homelessness. This is a pivotal leadership role, driving innovation, performance, and partnership working to deliver effective prevention and statutory services in line with the Homelessness Reduction Act.
You will be one of two managers responsible for leading and managing the Homelessness Prevention and Assessment teams, ensuring compliance with legislation and local policy. You will monitor service performance, quality assurance, and casework standards, using data to drive continuous improvement.
You will be a confident leader with a strong understanding of housing legislation, homelessness pathways, and the challenges faced by vulnerable individuals. You’ll bring:
- Proven experience managing homelessness or housing services.
- In-depth knowledge of the Homelessness Reduction Act and related legislation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A commitment to equity, inclusion, and trauma-informed practice.
- The ability to lead change, motivate teams, and deliver results under pressure.
