Key Responsibilities & Candidate Profile

- Dual Instruction: Deliver high-quality, rigorous lessons in both Psychology and Sociology across GCSE (KS4) and A-Level (KS5) .
- Curriculum Expertise: Confidently teach core topics in both disciplines, including social influence, cognitive development, research methods, theory, and contemporary social issues (e.g., crime, families).
- Critical Thinking: Foster strong analytical, critical evaluation, and essay writing skills, helping students master complex theoretical concepts and research methodologies.
- Attainment Focus: Utilise data effectively to monitor student progress, provide targeted support, and ensure excellent academic outcomes in public examinations.
- Collaboration: Contribute actively to the wider Social Science faculty, sharing resources and expertise across both subjects.
