Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Python Engineer to work for our high profile investment management vendor.

Our client is a well known global wealth management HFT software business. They provide valuations and pricing of derivatives to most of the buy side.

The environment is that of Facebook or Google, relaxed open with time to think and make the right decisions. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed with an open dress code. This is a role for techies, those who are motivated by the sharp end of technology and the possibility of making serious money doing something you are passionate about.

Development is agile and fast paced. As requirements evolve you will leverage the best of the open source community, sometimes substituting your own solutions where greater performance is needed. You will be encouraged to evangelise and prototype new technologies and through doing so you will help shape the architecture.

Day to Day Developers will:

• Work collaboratively with Business Analysis, Quality Assurance Engineers, Management and other Software Engineers
• Take ownership of specific modules of the solution, becoming an expert in those areas
• Serve as a technical resource with whom people on the project team consult
• Be responsible for back-end and front-end development with emphasis on back-end; front-end development includes both Windows Client and Web Client of the solution

Python Engineers Must Have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar
• Minimum 4 years technical experience
• Strong technical skills in Python and web technologies
• Full SDLC experience with applications deployed on Linux
• In-depth experience with unit testing, integration testing and load testing
• Proven ability to work analytically and creatively in a problem-solving environment

My client is based in London this role will be remote 4 days a week.
