Nursery Practitioner in New Malden
New Malden - Nursery Practitioner roles now available
A bright and welcoming nursery in New Malden is currently seeking a passionate and committed Nursery Practitioner to join the friendly and hardworking team of staff!
Previous experience working with children under 5 in a nursery or childcare setting would be ideal, and a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare is essential for the suitable Nursery Practitioner.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you are playing a key role in preparing young children for their future, and it is important to have a real passion for supporting their growth and development in their most formative years. Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and children's learning and development is desirable too.
Your main responsibilities as a Nursery Practitioner will include, but are not limited to:
- Planning and delivering play-based learning activities and exploration
- Supporting and assisting with early reading, vocabulary, literacy and communication development
- Providing a stimulating, supportive and safe environment that allows children to grow and learn
- Assisting with the development of early maths skills
- Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed and supporting the nursery management team
- Helping children to develop positive relationships and form/build on their social skills
Supported by a management team who truly care about every member of staff, working collaboratively with other likeminded and committed individuals, this is a great place for any Nursery Practitioner to work! There is the opportunity for professional development and various benefits, including bonuses paid throughout the year.
Located in New Malden, this nursery is easily accessed thanks to excellent transport links and local parking, and there are lovely outdoor spaces, both private owned by the nursery and local parks nearby.
This is a permanent position for the suitable Nursery Practitioner to work full-time Monday-Friday (8am-6pm), and interviews will be taking place ASAP!
If this Nursery Practitioner role sounds like the perfect opportunity for you, apply now and we will be in touch soon!
