Finance Analyst

Robert Half Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be partnering with an exciting, global business who are looking to appoint a Finance Analyst to join its UK Central Finance team based near Heathrow.

This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) who is looking to build strong financial accounting and reporting experience within a supportive and professional finance environment.

The role will give you exposure to month-end reporting, balance sheet management, group reporting processes and audit support, making it ideal for someone developing their technical accounting career.

The Role

Working as part of a collaborative finance team, you will support core financial accounting processes and ensure accurate and timely reporting across several UK entities.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting and leading elements of the month-end close and financial reporting cycle
• Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with year-end financial close and statutory reporting requirements
• Supporting internal and external audit processes
• Preparing weekly cash flow reporting
• Assisting with budget and forecast balance sheet preparation
• Supporting overhead budgeting and month-end variance analysis
• Maintaining IFRS 16 lease accounting records
• Acting as a key point of contact for Group Finance queries and reporting requests
• Liaising with Shared Service Centre to ensure accurate accounting entries
• Preparing ONS statistical returns and supporting regulatory reporting
• Providing ad-hoc financial analysis and project support

About You

We are looking for a motivated finance professional who is keen to continue developing within a technical accounting role.

You will likely have:

• Experience working in a Finance Analyst, Assistant Accountant or similar role
• Part-qualified status (ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) with studies in progress
• Experience supporting month-end processes and financial reporting
• Strong Excel skills and good overall systems capability
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• The ability to communicate financial information clearly to a variety of stakeholders
• A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Experience with varied financial consolidation or reporting systems would be beneficial but is not essential.
