Science Teacher (General Science/Physics) – Join a collaborative and supportive team – Barking & Dagenham
A large, supportive secondary school in Barking & Dagenham is recruiting a Science Teacher who can teach General Science at KS3/4 and is a Physics specialist for KS5, starting January 2026.
- Science Teacher (Physics Specialism) required from January 2026

You will teach the balanced Science curriculum at KS3, Combined Science (Trilogy) at KS4, and A-Level Physics (if experienced). The department is highly collaborative, sharing resources and planning centrally. Your role involves supporting practical work and contributing to the consistent delivery of high-quality lessons.
Experience and Qualifications
- QTS and a specialism in Science (Physics preferred)
- Experience teaching up to GCSE Combined Science (all three disciplines)
- Familiarity with departmental centralized planning and resource sharing systems
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
