• Ensuring plant, equipment and materials are used effectively and available when required

• Conducting and contributing to toolbox talks, site inductions and pre-start briefings

• Ensuring compliance with NRSWA, risk assessments and method statements at all times

• Completing daily records, task-specific documentation and quality inspection reports

• Identifying and escalating any site issues, quality concerns or programme risks to the Project Manager

• Reporting all incidents, close calls and near misses in line with company procedures

WHAT IT TAKES

• Significant proven experience in cable installation across utility, power or telecoms projects

• NRSWA Streetworks operative accreditation

• CSCS or EUSR Card at the appropriate level

• Strong technical competence in all cabling methods including blowing techniques

• PIA accreditations SA002 / S006&7 (desirable)

• Confident working from drawings and specifications with good attention to detail

• Natural leader with the ability to guide and motivate others on site

• Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with supervisors and team members

• Self-motivated, reliable and adaptable, with a willingness to travel nationally

WHAT WE OFFER YOU

We truly value your work, time, and skills! In return, we will offer you a competitive salary and some additional benefits to support your professional growth, including:

• Participation in mentoring and coaching programmes

• Generous holidays

• Continuous training and development, in both technical and business skills
