SEN Teaching Assistant
SEN Teaching Assistant Pay: £90-£112 per day Full-time/ Term Time only Islington, North London We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant, If you have a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and want to make a real difference in their educational journey, we'd love to hear from you. SEN Teaching Assistant Role:
- Support pupils with a range of special educational needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, SEMH).
- Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored interventions.
- Encourage positive behaviour and promote independence.
- Help create an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.
- Has experience working with children with SEN (in a school or care setting).
- Is patient, empathetic, and resilient.
- Can build strong relationships with children, staff, and families.
- Holds relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent) - desirable but not essential.
- Has a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- Enhances DBS.
