Temp Nanny/Housekeeper

Our client, based in St John’s Wood, is seeking an experienced and reliable Temporary Nanny/Housekeeper to support their family and care for their 4-month-old baby boy. The ideal candidate will be warm, nurturing, and proactive, with the flexibility to balance childcare and household duties to a high standard. This will be to start ideally in January, possibly sooner, until the end of March.

Key Responsibilities:

Childcare Duties

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for a 4-month-old baby boy.
• Supervise and engage the baby during the day when parents are out.
• Take the baby out for walks and plan age-appropriate activities to support development.
• Assist parents throughout the day as needed, maintaining a calm and supportive presence.

Housekeeping Duties

• Carry out general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organised home.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks as required.
• Manage household laundry and ironing to a high standard.
• Ensure all baby items (clothing, bottles, toys) are clean and well-organised.
• Occasional meal prep would be a bonus.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Nanny/Housekeeper in a private household.
• Experience caring for infants and a strong understanding of early developmental stages.
• Professional, discreet, and trustworthy.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Fluent English preferred; additional languages a plus.
• DBS check and recent references required.

Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday: 9.00am–5.00pm
• Friday: 9.00am–9.00pm
• Saturday: 5.00pm–9.00pm

Salary : £23–£25 per hour
