Temp Nanny/Housekeeper
Our client, based in St John’s Wood, is seeking an experienced and reliable Temporary Nanny/Housekeeper to support their family and care for their 4-month-old baby boy. The ideal candidate will be warm, nurturing, and proactive, with the flexibility to balance childcare and household duties to a high standard. This will be to start ideally in January, possibly sooner, until the end of March.
Key Responsibilities:
Childcare Duties
- Provide attentive and nurturing care for a 4-month-old baby boy.
- Supervise and engage the baby during the day when parents are out.
- Take the baby out for walks and plan age-appropriate activities to support development.
- Assist parents throughout the day as needed, maintaining a calm and supportive presence.
Housekeeping Duties
- Carry out general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organised home.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as required.
- Manage household laundry and ironing to a high standard.
- Ensure all baby items (clothing, bottles, toys) are clean and well-organised.
- Occasional meal prep would be a bonus.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Nanny/Housekeeper in a private household.
- Experience caring for infants and a strong understanding of early developmental stages.
- Professional, discreet, and trustworthy.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Fluent English preferred; additional languages a plus.
- DBS check and recent references required.
Schedule:
- Monday – Thursday: 9.00am–5.00pm
- Friday: 9.00am–9.00pm
- Saturday: 5.00pm–9.00pm
Salary : £23–£25 per hour
