History Teacher – Lead Academic Rigour and University Preparation in a High-Attaining Inner-City School – Newham
A high-performing secondary school in Newham requires a History Teacher to provide academic leadership and drive rigorous standards across the department from January 2026.

The role involves providing strategic leadership for History across KS3–KS5 . You will oversee curriculum development, focusing on rigorous content and high expectations for research and analytical writing. Experience and Qualifications
- QTS and a degree in History (Russell Group University is Desired).
- Proven experience teaching History to GCSE & A-Level.
- Demonstrable track record of achieving top grades at A-Level History .
- Capacity for inspiring leadership and effective staff line management.
