Veterinary Surgeon - Maternity Leave
About the Role:
GLG Vets is pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established veterinary practice in Beckenham, Greater London. This role is offered on a 9-12 month contract to cover maternity leave, allowing you to make a real impact in a busy and supportive environment.
We are looking for a dedicated professional to provide exceptional care for pets, contribute to the ongoing development of the practice, and work collaboratively with a passionate team.
Location: Beckenham, Greater LondonPosition: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Salary: £40,000 - £65,000 per year
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality veterinary care to a diverse caseload
- Provide diagnostic and surgical services in a compassionate and professional manner
- Participate in the practice’s continuous improvement and clinical development initiatives
- Engage in regular communication with clients, providing exceptional service and support
- Work closely with a skilled team of professionals in a well-equipped practice
Benefits:

About You:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Veterinary Surgeon who:
- Holds a BVSc , BVM&S , or equivalent qualification
- Is registered with the RCVS
- Has strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to client care
- Is committed to ongoing professional development and delivering the highest standards of care
- Previous experience in a veterinary practice is preferred, but new graduates may also be considered
