Passionate Year 1 Teacher - Vibrant Community in Ealing
A warm and welcoming one-form entry primary school in Ealing is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a full-time, fixed-term basis from January 2026 until July 2026 . This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Key Stage 1 practitioner who thrives on supporting children through their transition from the Early Years and helping them build strong foundations for future learning.

Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)

About the Role
As a Year 1 Class Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum.
- Support pupils in transitioning smoothly from EYFS into Year 1 expectations.
- Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and plan next steps.
- Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued.
- Collaborate with the SENCO, support staff, and families to ensure every child thrives.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including assemblies, events, and enrichment activities.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1.
- Strong knowledge of the KS1 national curriculum and early learning pedagogy.
- A reflective, nurturing, and organised approach to teaching.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset, particularly suited to a close-knit one-form entry school.
