Workshop Planning Administrator
We are recruiting for a Workshop Administrator to provide administrative support for a busy commercial vehicle workshop operation.
You will be supporting a diverse fleet that includes HGVs, refuse collection vehicles, gritters, sweepers and other specialist commercial vehicles.
This is a varied and fast-paced role where you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the workshop from an administrative perspective.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Raising and processing job cards
- Chasing and updating repairs
- Scheduling 6-week inspections, MOTs, routine servicing and reactive maintenance
- Liaising with the Parts Department to ensure the correct parts and consumables are allocated to the appropriate jobs
- Maintaining accurate records and workshop documentation
- Communicating with both internal departments and external stakeholders
- Previous administration experience
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
- Experience using MS Office, including Word and Excel
- Comfortable working with databases and CRM systems
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to double-check work accurately
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach at all times
