In-house Proclaim Developer – six month FTC

We are now seeking an In-house Proclaim Developer to join the firm in January 2026, on a six month fixed-term contract to enhance our internal systems and support our dedicated teams. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Proclaim software to develop, maintain, and optimise our case management solutions, ensuring they meet the dynamic needs of our legal services and client interactions. Your contributions will be pivotal in streamlining our workflows and improving efficiency across the firm. As part of a collaborative environment, you will work closely with various departments, gathering requirements and implementing changes that align with our commitment to ethical and effective legal representation. This role represents an exciting opportunity to become a key player in a progressive legal firm dedicated to excellence and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Proclaim case management systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with legal teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable development tasks.
- Optimise existing workflows within the Proclaim system to improve productivity and user experience.
- Perform regular system upgrades and testing to ensure stability and compliance with best practices.
- Provide technical support and training to staff on Proclaim features and functionalities.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate Proclaim with other software and systems used within the firm.
- Document system configurations, development processes, and user manuals for future reference.
Requirements
- Proven experience in developing and managing Proclaim case management software, in particular Eclipse.
- Strong understanding of legal processes, linked actions and workflows within the IT database
- Expertise in SQL and database management relevant to Proclaim.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders and understand their requirements.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously within set deadlines.
- A commitment to upholding the ethical values and standards of the legal industry.
Salary subject to experience.
