SEN TA - Barnet
A vibrant primary school in Barnet is seeking an enthusiastic SEN TA to begin in January 2026. This SEN TA role in Barnet includes a thorough induction and handover prior to January 2026, ensuring the successful SEN TA is fully prepared to start in January 2026.
• SEN TA required to support learning and classroom inclusion
• SEN TA required to work within a supportive primary school in Barnet
• SEN TA to deliver structured interventions and promote pupil wellbeing
The SEN TA will support pupils in both classroom and intervention settings, adapting resources and assisting with emotional and behavioural support. Working in Barnet, the SEN TA will work closely with teachers, the SENCo and pastoral staff to ensure pupils receive consistent, high-quality support.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day classroom and intervention support
- Adapt resources and learning materials to support access
- Support pupils’ emotional, social and behavioural needs
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to reviews
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families in Barnet
Person Specification
- Previous experience in a SEN TA or similar support role
- Positive, patient and reliable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Confidence working in a busy Barnet school environment
- Available to start January 2026
