Missions/Main Duties
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Prepare outline and detailed design for multi or single disciplinary projects as required
- Follow and check procedures throughout project delivery
- Interface with other disciplines and 3rd parties / external Engineers to ensure a multi-disciplinary design is developed, if appropriate to project specifications
- Report updates to senior Engineers, technical leads and the project management team on project progress
- Apply procedures and systems to ensure the safety of staff and others affected by the operations of SYSTRA throughout design lifecycle
- Contribute to company-wide goals and business improvement
- Continue your own professional development with support from SYSTRA in line with your professional body.

Stakeholder accountabilities
- Interaction with internal disciplines, Project Managers and Engineers for project delivery across engineering and consultancy
- Liaising with clients, joint venture partners and external contractors as required, attending client meetings when required
Financial
Profile/Skills
- Knowledge of electrical services design within the built environment and/or transport infrastructure including railway lineside systems (points heating, signalling power, level crossings, general LV distribution) and/or lighting, small power, containment, earthing and fire alarms
- Experience in the use of industry wide software for electrical calculation purposes
- Knowledge of multi-disciplinary issues associated with railway lineside systems and/or the Built Environment
- Qualification: HNC or equivalent
