Junior Family Law Solicitor (1-4 PQE)

Location: South London (Croydon & Wimbledon area)
Contract: Full-Time, Initial 12-Month Fixed Term Contract
Working Arrangement: Office Based (Hybrid working may be considered)

Salary: Competitive Depending on Experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Family Law Solicitor to join a well-established and growing specialist family law practice in South London.

This firm focuses exclusively on privately funded family law matters and is looking for a motivated solicitor with 1–4 years’ PQE to support its expanding client base and growing caseload.

The Role

The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of private family law matters while also supporting senior solicitors on more complex cases. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your experience within a respected specialist practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of private family law matters
• Assisting senior solicitors on complex and high-value cases
• Conducting client meetings and providing practical legal advice
• Drafting court documents, agreements, and correspondence
• Attending court hearings and liaising with Counsel where required
• Supporting the continued growth and reputation of the firm

About You

• 1–4 years’ PQE within family law
• Strong experience handling private family law matters
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• Strong drafting and organisational abilities
• Ability to manage a busy workload independently and collaboratively
• Professional, proactive, and motivated approach
