Senior Retail Consultant
Emmy London's luxury boutique team in Marylebone, London, seeks an enthusiastic Senior Retail Consultant.
Working within a small established business, the successful applicant will actively participate in the growth of the business and brand, delivering high-quality client service and achieving sales goals. This role would suit someone who wants to develop a consultative retail role, beyond transactional sales.
Duties of the Senior Retail Consultant include, but are not limited to:
- Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Commitment to our customers, colleagues, and the brand.
- Maintain a strong drive for results and a positive, team-first attitude at all times.
- Ensure a welcoming client-focused environment, which includes offering the best service, in person, over the phone, via video and through e-mail.
- Run sales consultations through video applications, e.g. FaceTime / Google (virtual appointments).
- Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and engage clients through the craftsmanship and narratives of products.
- Develop a dynamic local and international client book.
- Own and develop our VIP & loyalty programs.
- Help clients with styling advice.
- Work closely and develop our referral partnerships.
- Action visual merchandising.
- Manage customer service as a first level of escalation.
- Assist in preparing, packing, and wrapping merchandise upon request.
- Participate in all inventory counts and protect the assets of the boutique through understanding and complying with operating procedures.
What Emmy London is looking for:
- At least 2 years' experience working for a premium/luxury women's wear or footwear brand
- Ability to develop strong and lasting relationships with people through strong communication, organisation and follow-through skills.
- Strong drive for business results with a passion for creativity, fashion and the brand.
- Provide outstanding customer service across all mediums (in-person, written, phone, etc.).
- Read, count and write to accurately complete all business and client-related transactions.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage the shift and holiday rota and participate in assigned shifts with reasonable flexibility, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
- Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job (answering phones, POS, using computers, and all other office equipment).
- Can stand for extended periods, move/handle boxes and bags.
- Willingness to adhere to all company policies, procedures, regulations, and standards.
