Physics Teacher - Brent | Independent Senior School

The Role & Responsibilities Supporting the STEM Lead, you will deliver the vital technical skills and theoretical knowledge that prepare students for the global digital economy.
Theoretical & Practical Instruction: Teaching Physics from KS3 to A-Level, covering core topics like mechanics and electromagnetism, alongside modern modules in astrophysics and quantum mechanics.
Engineering Enrichment: Leading the school’s popular Robotics club or coordinating the "Formula 1 in Schools" team to compete at a national level.
Curriculum Design: Helping to refine schemes of work that bridge the gap between GCSE and university-level Physics, focusing on mathematical modeling.
Staff Mentorship: Sharing best practices in digital learning and practical demonstration with colleagues across the Science faculty.
Requirements
Degree: A degree in Physics, Astrophysics, or an Engineering discipline.
QTS: Required.
Right to Work: Full UK right to work is essential.
Salary & Contract Details
Salary Range: £40,317 – £62,496 (M1 – UPS3 equivalent)
Contract: Full-time | Permanent | ASAP Start
