School Community Club Assistant - Brandlehow Primary School - SW15 2ED Job Introduction

12 hours/week with more available with agreement (3pm – 6pm, four days per week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

We are looking to recruit outstanding individuals who are interested in and passionate about caring for and educating children, keeping them happy and safe within the school ethos of Brandlehow School. Our Community Club is very much part of the school and the successful applicant will work under the direction of the Club Manager and Headteacher

Successful applicants must already hold an NVQ 2/3 in Child Care (or equivalent) or be willing to gain this qualification as soon as possible. First Aid and Basic Food Handling qualifications would also be an advantage.

In addition to possessing the qualifications and experiences relevant to the post (see person specification attached), the successful candidate will have a passion for enabling children to overcome their barriers and to succeed. The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, parents and education professionals is also a requirement. You must be willing to undertake professional development as required.
