Early Years Practitioner in Edmonton
Make a difference as an Early Years Practitioner working in an inclusive and vibrant nursery in North London.
The suitable Early Years Practitioner will hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification and will be working full time (Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm) at a nursery located in Edmonton.
Day-to-day as a Qualified Early Years Practitioner, your duties will include but are not limited to:- Following the EYFS curriculum to assist children with the development of early reading and early maths skills
- Leading and assisting with activities that stimulate children's imagination and creativity
- Supporting children's personal, social and emotional development
- Providing an environment that is safe, supportive and stimulating, allowing every child to grow at their own pace and feels encouraged
- Creating a language rich environment
- Encouraging development through play and exploration
- Helping children to build on their social skills and develop positive relationships
A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner qualification and previous experience would be desirable for this role.
As an Early Years Practitioner working in a nursery, you’ll leave each day feeling rewarded knowing you’ve made a real difference to a child’s life and development. You should have a good understanding of and good attitude towards working in Early Years.
