The opportunity

As we scale our go-to-market organisation, we have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join as Attest’s first Solutions Consultant (SC). Reporting directly into the VP Sales, you will have a unique opportunity to play a foundational role at a company that is helping brands find their path in an uncertain world. You will be a key player in supporting our commercial success, and ultimately part of a team that helps leading organisations build the brands you love.

This role does not carry an individual sales quota. Success is measured through team performance.

As our foundational SC, you will define and continuously improve pre-sales best practices, including demo standards, POC frameworks and reusable assets to scale the function effectively.

You will find a culture of excellence, a company that truly invests in employee development, and an AI-driven product that is cutting-edge and disruptive. This role would be a fantastic fit for a polished, entrepreneurial and commercially minded consultant, with a background in customer-facing roles in SaaS, or business development roles in management consulting.

What you'll be doing

  • Trusted Advisor: Partner with and enable our Account Executives (AEs) in the UK and US to shape our prospects’ vision, contributing to deal strategy and helping shape the solution narrative to drive commercial outcomes

  • Product Demonstrations: Develop compelling, vertically aligned demo scripts, and personally present Attest’s capabilities through the delivery of in-person and remote demonstrations that clearly articulate value, bringing to life how the Attest platform will enable prospects to realise business goals and achieve a return on investment

  • Proposals: Take the lead on creating compelling written proposals and RFP responses, in collaboration with Attest teams cross-functionally, leveraging best practices, templates and internal sources of knowledge on Attest’s capabilities and customer stories

  • POCs: Lead and own "proofs of concept", scoping use cases, defining clear success criteria and guiding cross-functional execution to demonstrate measurable value aligned to customer needs and buying criteria, driving deal progression

  • Customer Stories and Competitive Analysis: Harvest, share and bring the Attest solution to life with authentic customer examples in demos and written proposals that differentiate Attest from other solutions in the marketplace

  • Discovery: Explore and understand business opportunities in prospect accounts. Work consultatively with prospects to clarify their current circumstances, their insight needs, the economic value of fulfilling those needs, and gaps or limitations in their current process/solutions

  • Solution Hypotheses: Research and understand prospects' go-to-market strategies, and identify potential solutions to their challenges and value drivers of consumer insights for the prospect’s organisation

  • Solution Design: Propose the right consumer insights solutions that will transform the prospect’s business

  • Working Hours: Although based in London, as part of a global commercial team this role requires flexibility to support both UK and New York sales teams. This includes occasional adjusted working hours, e.g. later starts/finishes, to support US-based (East Coast-time) client meetings, demos, and other sales activities

What’s in it for you?

  • The opportunity to set a new standard for excellence in sales deliverables, as the first hire in a brand new capability that will play a pivotal role in powering Attest’s growth

  • Be part of a growing and evolving sales team that will welcome your contributions to continuously improve outputs

  • Partner closely with a team of experienced sales leaders and individual contributors, and develop a rewarding career with training and development to support you every step of the way

  • Be part of a truly collaborative culture with great teammates from diverse backgrounds, fantastic Shoreditch offices, and a hybrid working environment (expectation of being in office minimum three days per week)

  • Immerse yourself in a cutting-edge, AI-driven technology platform that is transforming the way global brands gather, understand and share consumer insights

  • Gain exposure to leading brands and develop expertise in key business verticals (including financial services, media & entertainment, and food & beverage)

  • Build your knowledge and skill set in value-based selling, and embrace the chance to own your career path as we build and grow a new team

Minimum requirements

  • 5+ years experience in a business customer-facing role

  • Previous experience of working in a software/digital/technology context

  • Excellent business & technical presentation skills (remote & in-person), communication skills (written & verbal), and relationship-building skills (from middle-management to C-suite)

  • Ability to apply strategic thinking and demonstrate an understanding of prospects’ requirements

  • Ability to execute to a high-standard of output: results-oriented, works smart, and stays organised in order to meet business commitments

  • Relevant work experience

  • Availability for occasional transatlantic travel as needed, on opportunities where face-to-face input or in-person prospect presentations are important

Preferred qualifications:

  • Pre-sales support experience at a software company that sells business applications to business buyers

  • Strong knowledge of and proven track record in market research concepts and methodologies

  • Demonstrated technical proficiency, including a good level of comfort with technical concepts, and the ability to step into the role of technical subject matter expert in a sale cycle

Our benefits

  • Work from anywhere up to 20 days a year

  • 25 days holiday per year plus additional festive days

  • Private Medical Insurance

  • 1 day per quarter to do charity or community work

  • Family friendly benefits, including enhanced parental leave (18 weeks paid leave for Primary carer), up to 12 weeks paid leave for premature births and neonatal care and paid leave for IVF and fertility treatment and pregnancy loss

We want to give everyone the opportunity to showcase their best selves during the interview process and beyond. Do let us know if there are any adjustments you’d like to make to ensure it’s more inclusive – we’re learning too, so we’re more than happy to adapt and accommodate where possible.

Please note that we're unfortunately not able to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
