An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced and client-focused Senior Private Banker to join a dynamic and growing private banking team in London. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives on building and managing strong, long-term relationships with high net worth individuals while delivering tailored banking, credit, and investment solutions.

This is a hybrid position, requiring three days per week in the office, with a salary of £120,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of 100+ high-net-worth clients, overseeing their full banking relationships

Identify and secure new private and business banking clients

Deliver compliant regulated mortgage and investment advice, and monitor suitability on an ongoing basis

Grow client lending, deposits, and assets under advice

Handle credit applications, lending documentation, and manage portfolio lending quality

Ensure all client interactions align with regulatory standards, internal procedures, and ethical best practices

Resolve regulated and non-regulated complaints

Proactively support clients' financial goals while protecting their best interests

Maintain strong awareness of market trends, competitor activity, and the wider economic landscape

Candidate Profile

We're looking for someone with:

A proven track record of managing and growing relationships with high net worth clients

Strong knowledge of regulated credit agreements, investment advice, and portfolio management

Excellent understanding of creditworthiness assessment, mortgage processes, and financial products

Outstanding communication skills - both written and verbal

A proactive and innovative mindset with a high level of professionalism

The ability to interpret and explain complex financial concepts to clients clearly and confidently

Qualifications & Training

Degree educated (or equivalent)

CeMAP, IAD, and PCIAM qualifications

Certified Staff (previously CF30) status, with a commitment to maintain regulatory certification
