Non-Contentious Construction Associate
A leading Top 50 London law firm is looking to add a Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor to its growing construction team.
The team is well regarded for its work across real estate development, regeneration, hospitality, logistics, student accommodation, healthcare, education, energy and infrastructure . The role offers strong exposure to high-quality development-led construction work, with close collaboration across real estate, finance and projects teams.
The Role
You will advise on a broad range of non-contentious construction matters, including:
- Building contracts
- Consultant appointments
- Collateral warranties
- Parent company guarantees
- Bonds
- Novation agreements
- Development agreements
- Forward funding support
- Construction aspects of acquisitions, disposals and financing
- Building Safety Act and remediation-related matters
The Candidate The ideal candidate will be:
- 2–5 PQE
- Experienced in non-contentious construction
- Comfortable with real estate development-related work
- Confident drafting and negotiating construction documents
- Commercial, client-facing and keen to take on responsibility
- Interested in working closely with real estate, finance and private capital clients
