The opportunity for U
In this senior level opportunity, you'll lead our UK-based Technology teams and take ownership of technical discovery, solution design, and implementation of new client engagements across the EMEA region. You'll partner with our clients to ensure their requirements are translated into scalable, cloud-based solutions and smoothly transitioned to global development teams, enabling successful onboarding and delivering clear project outcomes. You'll also collaborate closely with our internal teams across Australia & Vietnam.

What U will do

• Lead the technical design for Retail Wealth solutions across EMEA (typically focused on the implementation of Composer and Composer APIs via SaaS).

• Provide strong leadership to your team of Technical Managers and Senior Technical Consultants, driving a culture of innovation and collaboration.

• Partner with clients to quickly understand business and technical needs, guiding them confidently through solution design and delivery.

• Ensure client requirements are captured precisely and translated into detailed solution designs, ready for seamless handover to software development teams based in Australia and Vietnam.

• Manage team capacity, delivery timelines, revenue forecasts, and inter-regional coordination to consistently deliver successful project outcomes.

• Establish and maintain best practices for discovery workshops, technical documentation, and stakeholder engagement.

• Oversee the integration of cloud-based SaaS products, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing implementations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Cloud Architects, Engineering teams, and Functional Product Specialists to design and deliver high-impact projects.

This opportunity is well suited to an individual who has led and developed teams in technical pre-sales environments within Financial Services or Wealth Management. You'll bring excellent communication skills and the ability to influence a wide range of internal & external stakeholders. Other skills include:

• Experience leading technical discovery and solution design for SaaS platforms

• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS) and modern software development practices.

• Familiarity with technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Proven leadership in technology transformation within financial services or wealth management
