Are you fascinated by the inner workings of the human mind and eager to inspire the next generation of psychologists, neuroscientists, and social researchers?
We are seeking an intellectually curious and engaging Psychology Teacher to join a thriving Social Sciences department within a highly-regarded secondary school in Haringey . As one of the most popular A-Level choices, Psychology at this school requires a practitioner who can balance scientific rigor with empathetic discussion, making complex theories accessible and relevant.
The Role

You will join a department that prides itself on high academic standards and a passion for research-led teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
Theoretical Instruction: Delivering expert lessons on core topics including Social Influence, Memory, Attachment, Psychopathology, and Biopsychology.
Research Methods: Guiding students through the complexities of experimental design, statistical analysis, and the ethics of psychological research.
Evaluative Writing: Developing students' ability to construct high-level AO3 evaluations, moving beyond description to critical analysis of psychological studies.
Exam Strategy: Providing targeted intervention and mock-exam feedback to ensure students are fully prepared for the rigors of linear A-Level assessments.
Why Join This School?
Vibrant London Borough: Work in Haringey, a diverse and creative community with a strong commitment to educational equity and social mobility.
High Sixth Form Engagement: Teach motivated students who have actively chosen Psychology as a pathway to university and professional careers.

Professional Mentoring: Access to expert coaching, whether you are an ECT or an experienced teacher looking to move into a Lead Practitioner role.
