c£50,000 - Senior Patent Paralegal (London)
Our client, a well-established Intellectual Property firm, is looking to recruit an experienced Patent Paralegal to join their busy team. This is a varied role supporting Patent Attorneys with all aspects of patent formalities and prosecution.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparing and filing UK, EP and PCT patent applications.
- Managing deadlines, docketing and maintaining accurate case records.
- Handling EP grant formalities, validations and prosecution matters.
- Liaising with clients, attorneys and overseas associates.
- Preparing reports, correspondence and portfolio updates.
- Providing general administrative and paralegal support to the patent team.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a Patent Paralegal or intellectual property support role within private practice.
- Good working knowledge of UKIPO, EPO and PCT procedures.
- Experience using IP management systems such as Inprotech or Patricia.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
