The RoleThis is a high-impact leadership role combining technical excellence, team leadership, and business development.You will:Lead and grow the Employment Tax practice across the MidlandsAct as a trusted adviser to clients ranging from large corporates to mid-market businessesDrive business development-leveraging your network and identifying new opportunitiesLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing teamDeliver a broad range of employment tax services, including:Employment Status / IR35Salary Sacrifice and Reward Structuring (cash and non-cash)Tax Governance - policy design and process improvementTravel & Sustainability initiativesNational Minimum Wage advisoryHMRC reviews and dispute support (proactive and reactive)Disclosures, Benefits & Expenses compliancePAYE Settlement Agreements and Forms P11DCJRS & Furlough advisoryWho We're Looking ForProven experience in Employment Taxes, ideally within a Big 4, Top 10, or specialist advisory firmCurrently operating at Director level or an experienced Associate Director / Senior Manager ready to step upStrong technical breadth across employment taxDemonstrable experience leading teams and developing peopleTrack record of winning work and building client relationshipsCommercial mindset-able to deliver practical, business-focused adviceBackground could be practice-trained or ex-HMRCThe PitchIf you're currently:Feeling constrained by rigid structures or internal politicsLimited in your ability to build and grow a service lineReady for a role with more autonomy, visibility, and upsideThis is your opportunity to step into a position where:You lead, not followYou shape the offering, not just deliver itYour success is directly tied to the growth of the business
