Quantitative Trader

Fasanara Digital is a quantitative investment team applying a scientific, high frequency investment style in digital assets, seeking to achieve exceptional risk-adjusted returns for our investors. We were founded in 2018 and have grown to a 30-person strong team, managing over $500m USD in a basket of fully delta-neutral trading strategies. Our team members come from diverse backgrounds. The Role

We are looking for a Quantitative Trader to iterate and improve our delta neutral strategies across centralised crypto exchanges. You will leverage quantitative skills and knowledge of exchange mechanics to expand and optimize our cross-exchange arbitrage and basis trading strategies. Over time, you will develop deep expertise in our trading setup to play a critical role in driving the growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve current strategies while identifying and acting upon new opportunities
• Work closely with researchers and technologists to identify ways of structurally improving trading PnL
• Optimize trading volumes with respect to exchange fee schedules
• Maintain and improve codebases related to production strategies as well as generating metrics for analysis
• Monitor our trading and troubleshoot problems that arise in day-to-day trading

Requirements

• Full time experience in the trading industry and familiarity with central limit order books. Exceptional graduates with internships at top firms may be considered.
• Strong skills in Python, working knowledge of SQL
• Excellent problem solving and quantitative skills
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness to work across a broad range of tasks as required

Nice to have

• Experience working within crypto (particularly delta-1), and ideally at a top firm
