About Us
At London College of Contemporary Arts (LCCA) , we’re not just an institution — we’re a vibrant learning community rooted in experiential, student‑centred education. We believe that people learn best by doing: every lecture, studio session, workshop, project, and event is designed to be hands-on, reflective, and deeply connected to real-world challenges.
As part of the Global University Systems (GUS) network, and in partnership with the University for the Creative Arts (UCA), we deliver progressive programmes in fashion, business, hospitality, design, and more.
Our ethos is built around:
- Innovative & experiential learning — we embed real briefs, industry collaborations, live projects, reflection practices, and regular feedback throughout our curriculum.
- Deliberate reflection — after active learning, we pause, reflect and refine.
- Constructive feedback loops — assessment and feedback are integrated, timely, and growth-oriented.
We pride ourselves on fostering a diverse and dynamic student population. Our students include:
- Early-career creatives and business-minded young adults
- Professionals seeking career shifts or upskilling
- Returners who bring life, work, and global experience
This mix of backgrounds enriches our classrooms and projects, creating learning environments where different perspectives spark creativity and innovation.
Our academic team reflects this spirit. They are forward-thinking professionals who bring both industry insight and pedagogical care into the classroom. They mentor and support students from diverse paths to help them realise their personal and professional potential.
Our campuses in Tower Hill and Aldgate are embedded in London’s creative and business hubs, offering direct access to galleries, studios, agencies, and networks.
We are committed to:
- High academic standards and UCA-accredited programmes
- Inclusive approaches — ensuring every student, whether entering directly from school or returning after a career break, finds support and opportunity
- Strong industry links to give students exposure, connections, and a pathway into employment
In joining LCCA, you’ll be part of a community that values creativity, authenticity, experimentation, and the power of teaching through doing.
