Job Description

CNC Miller / CNC Programmer / CNC Setter Operato r required for a precision engineering manufacturer based in Bournemouth.

This role involves programming and operating an XYZ CNC milling machine managing machining workloads independently and supporting the team by operating the CNC lathe when required. Youll be producing high-quality machined components ensuring smooth workflow and maintaining high standards of precision and quality.

The ideal candidate will have strong CNC milling experience confidence programming XYZ controls and the ability to manage their machining workload from start to finish. You must also be within a commutable distance to Bournemouth.

• Up to 19 per hour
• 28 days holiday including bank

• MonThurs: 8:30am 5:00pm
• Fri: 8:30am 1:00pm
• 1-hour lunch break

• Program and operate an XYZ CNC milling machine
• Manage machining workload independently from start to finish
• Operate the CNC lathe when required
• Produce high-quality components to specification
• Maintain efficient workflow and problem-solve on the shop floor
• Work flexibly to support production during busy periods

CNC Miller / CNC Programmer / CNC Setter Operator Requirements

• Proven CNC Miller with programming and operating experience
• Confident using XYZ control systems
• Ability to manage machining workload independently
• Experience operating CNC lathes desirable
• Strong problem-solving ability and quality focus
• Commutable to the Bournemouth area
