The Role

The AP & AR Manager will oversee all aspects of the company’s Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Bank Reconciliation processes. The role ensures timely cash collection, accurate supplier payments, and clean reconciliations, while continuously improving processes and controls. The position suits a hands-on, analytical, and proactive finance professional with a process-improvement mindset.

Where You’ll Make An Impact

• Oversee all Accounts Payable and Receivable operations, ensuring timely, accurate payments and cash collection.

• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations with precision.

• Lead and develop a team of three across AP, AR, and Bank Reconciliation, creating clear ownership and accountability.

• Build and improve processes that enhance accuracy, speed, and scalability across finance operations.

• Maintain supplier and customer relationships, ensuring proactive communication and smooth resolution of queries.

• Drive automation and standardisation of key finance workflows, partnering with data and systems teams.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience managing AP, AR, and Bank Reconciliation in a high-volume environment.

• Strong people leadership and coaching experience.

• Proficiency in Xero, Netsuite, or similar accounting platforms.

• Demonstrated success implementing process improvements and automation tools.

• Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.

• A proactive, commercially aware mindset and a love for getting things done right, fast, and at scale.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience in e-commerce, retail, or consumer goods businesses.

• A passion for operational excellence and building best-in-class finance systems.
