We’re supporting a leading (re)insurer in their search for an Excess Casualty Underwriter to join their global team. (Lloyd's and Company Paper).

The role will focus on underwriting complex risks for large multinational clients across a variety of sectors including Chemicals, Pharma, Rail, Logistics, Healthcare, Energy, Mining, Automotive, and Manufacturing.

Key aspects include:

– Underwriting, analysing, and evaluating global excess casualty submissions

– Building strong relationships with brokers and clients

– Negotiating terms, conditions, and pricing

– Contributing to product development and cross-sell opportunities

– Supporting and mentoring junior underwriters

What you’ll bring:

– Solid casualty underwriting experience (global excess classes)

– Knowledge of industry-standard policy forms

– Strong commercial mindset with ability to balance technical and client-facing demands
