The role — Year 4 Teacher overview
As the Year 4 Teacher, you will design and deliver engaging sequences that develop reasoning, vocabulary and independent writing. The Year 4 Teacher will teach a motivated class, use ongoing assessment to inform planning and lead small-group support where required. The Full-Time Year 4 Teacher will attend induction in January 2026 and begin classroom duties from January 2026.
Year 4 Teacher — candidate profile
We are seeking a Year 4 Teacher with QTS, strong KS2 experience and a passion for creative, evidence-informed teaching. The ideal Year 4 Teacher will be confident with behaviour management, differentiation and parental engagement. The Year 4 Teacher should be prepared to start pre-term planning and induction ahead of January 2026 and to teach as a Full-Time Year 4 Teacher from January 2026.
