Teacher of Drama - Barnet - April 2026 Start
We are recruiting for an enthusiastic Drama Teacher for an Outstanding secondary school in Barnet. This full-time, permanent position starts in April 2026 and offers a brilliant opportunity for a creative teacher to join a successful department. We are seeking an individual who can inspire, enthuse, and encourage students to reach their highest potential, helping them develop as articulate and confident young citizens.

Responsibilities
Deliver high-calibre Drama lessons that challenge and stretch students across all key stages
Oversee school productions and drama clubs to enhance the school’s vibrant creative life
Support students in achieving outstanding results through a creative and challenging curriculum
Collaborate with a department of specialist teachers to maintain high academic standards
Participate in professional development sessions designed to refine your pedagogical practice
Qualifications and Experience
Degree in Drama or a related discipline and QTS
Proven ability to deliver excellent outcomes for students in a high-performing setting
Must have the right to work in the UK
Salary and Benefits
Salary Range: £37,868 to £56,154 (Outer London)
