Robotics SLAM Engineer
An underground Robotics scale-up are looking for a Junior-Mid Level Robotics Engineer to join the team.
As a Robotics (SLAM) Engineer you will be responsible for driving innovation in robotic Location and mapping / mission planning / SLAM / Sensor control and investigate innovative ways to implement the latest technologies.
The ideal candidate will have a master’s or PhD in a relevant field with 1-2 years research or commercial experience in a similar Robotics role as well as experience with and interest in sensor integration and data analysis, robotic control and navigation.
Essential:
- Master’s or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering or similar discipline.
· 1-2 years related experience (within academia or industry).
· Good experience with ROS2 and algorithm development
· Strong C++
Desirable:
· Good exposure to Hardware Robotics
· Python
Location – London (Hybrid working – 2 days in the office a week)
Salary - £45,000-£55,000 (DOE)
