The SEN TA will work alongside class teachers to provide additional support, deliver small-group interventions and promote independence. As a SEN TA, you will play a vital role in helping pupils access learning and develop confidence. The SEN TA will also assist with communication programmes and sensory regulation strategies across Newham.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver targeted one-to-one support
- Support pupils in class to access learning tasks
- Assist with emotional regulation strategies
- Monitor and record pupil progress
- Work with families and staff in Newham
Requirements
- Previous experience as a SEN TA or in a similar role
- Patient, supportive and adaptable approach
- Available to start January 2026
