This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated graduate to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, while building essential classroom experience.

About the Role – Graduate Science Academic Mentor

As a Graduate Science Academic Mentor, you’ll provide tailored academic support to students across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics . Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering focused 1:1 and small group interventions to boost student progress.
• Assisting in the planning and delivery of engaging, curriculum-based science lessons.
• Supporting pupils who may need extra guidance with scientific concepts or lab work.
• Helping to run revision clubs, science enrichment sessions , and after-school interventions.
• Collaborating with teaching, SEN, and pastoral teams to support a range of learners.
• Acting as a positive role model and mentor , encouraging students to develop a love for science.

Who We’re Looking For – Graduate Science Academic Mentor

• Hold a 2:1 degree or above in a science-related subject (e.g. Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Natural Sciences).
• Have strong academic credentials (GCSEs and A-Levels).

• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
