Agency Job – Care Workers / Support Workers (Day Care) – East London

We are currently recruiting Care Workers / Support Workers to join our agency team and work in a Day Care Centre in East London.

About the Role

As a Support Worker in a Day Care setting, you will be supporting adults with autism, learning difficulties, and other additional needs. Your day-to-day duties will include:

Encouraging and empowering service users to be independent and make choices.

*

Supporting service users with daily activities both within the centre and in the community.

*

Taking groups on fun and meaningful outings such as trips to the park, museums, swimming, and day trips.

*

Organising indoor activities when the weather isn’t suitable for outdoor trips.

*

Promoting wellbeing, inclusion, and a safe environment at all times.

*

Working as part of a supportive and caring team.

Hours

*

Monday to Friday

*

10:00 – 15:00 (no weekends)

Requirements

To apply for this role, you must have:

*

At least 12 months previous experience working in a care setting in the UK.

*

Right to Work in the UK.

*

A valid Enhanced DBS check (on the Update Service is desirable).

*

Up-to-date Mandatory Training Certificates (e.g., First Aid, Manual Handling, Safeguarding Adults/Children).
