We have an excellent opportunity for the position of School Crossing Patroller. Please note that these positions are based in various locations around Glasgow.
\nSchool Crossing Patrollers provide an important and invaluable road safety service. No previous experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
\nYou must be able to work both shifts 08.00-09.15 and 14.45-15.30 Monday to Friday, as you are a crucial part of getting children to school and back home safely.
\nMembership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme is essential for this role. the successful candidate will be expected to meet the cost of the relevant check.
\nThese posts are excepted under Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013 (as amended).
\nMembership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment along with SSSC Registration. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.
\nPlease note that Glasgow City Council is currently completing a Job Evaluation exercise and introducing a new pay and grading structure which may impact on current salaries quoted in job adverts.
